GUILFORD BURTON Jr (b. 1947) In Greenville, North Carolina, Mr. Burton made the significant and life-changing move to New York City in the early 1970s, accompanied by his family members, who were ready to embrace new opportunities and experiences in the bustling metropolis.
A couple of years later, he made the important decision to enroll in Junior High School 263, where he eagerly began to explore his deep passion for art by taking a variety of art classes.
Throughout his artistic journey, he also took great joy in sharing his valuable artistic skills by patiently teaching his son the intricate trade of drawing.
Now, at the age of 76, he continues to actively engage in his artistic pursuits, specifically focusing on drawing cartoon characters along with a myriad of other imaginative characters that he has truly enjoyed creating throughout the many years of his artistic journey.
